Week: 24
Size: Grapefruit
Baby’s job this week: He is weighing in at 1 1/2 lbs and close to 9 inches! We have reached the all important viability week too! His skin is more opaque and pink. He now has eyebrows and eyelashes and hair on top of his head!
Symptoms: Swollen hands and feet. Occasional leg cramps
Sleep: {No change here} Not bad but not as good as it was. Some nights I wake up and can’t go back to sleep for 2-3 hours.
Maternity Clothes: Dresses! I love them!
Food Cravings: Root beer Floats and jalapeno poppers!
Food aversions: Nothing to report
What I miss: Wine and Dewey’s Buffalo Chicken Pizza
Movement: All over the place! I can now feel his kicks above my belly button which is new and exciting! This little man is very active and sends me a powerful kick or two when I’m in meetings at work! Sometimes they even make me jump! 🙂
Gender: Boy!
Favorite moment of the week: We celebrated Ryan’s grandmothers 85th birthday! She is a very special lady… she had 5 kids in 6 years. She loves to tell that little fact just about every time I see her. It was great to celebrate and honor such a wonderful person!
What I’m looking forward to: First shower is in less than 2 weeks!
Favorite Ryan quote: The other day I texted Ryan to ask what he wanted to accomplish at the house after work and is there anything he would like for me to do. His response: “Just grow my boy big and strong. You’re doing plenty with just that.” He’s such a sweet man.
Have a great week!

Aww what a lovely post, congratulations 🙂
Thank you!
What a nice thing to say, and it is so true. It’s nice to be appreciated. I’m getting really excited about the shower, can’t wait.
Me too! Can’t believe how fast time is moving now!
funny – i’ve been onto floats this week too… but mine have been maple ice cream with coke zero. don’t knock it til you tried it 😉 there Must be vital minerals or something that we’re getting from them – haha.
I’m not knocking anything… Maple Ice cream and coke sounds amazing! I love anything salty right now, so either a salty carmel or a butter pecan are my favs for the rootbeer floats!
